Fireworks from Old Sac...

As a preparation for 4th of July me with some photographers from the meetup group went to shoot some fireworks from Old Sac. This is how it turned out...

A little baby bird in my backyard....

I just found a little baby bird in my backyard. I saw it sit in the same place for a while and the parents were flying around non stop. So I decided to get my camera and take advantage of the not moving baby bird. This is how it turned out:

New Lens I got!!

I just got a new lens Canon 85mm with F1.8. I tried it today for the first time and I am so exited by the photos I was able to capture of my dogs!

I knew F1.8 should provide a pretty good blurred background, but I did not believe until I was the pictures!!!

Here are the top 3 so far...I cant wait to take it to the Renaissance fair tomorrow!!!
